Tradewind are working with a partnership school in Lincoln searching for a Head of Science. This is a middle leadership position and is central to the development of the academy, and as such, they are looking for an outstanding practitioner. The successful candidate will lead a team of 8 staff, including 2 science technicians, overseeing the teaching of Science through to A - Level. This position will start in September 2019.
The academy is a thrilling 11-18 academy, situation close to the cultural quarter of the historic city of Lincoln. Recently judged 'good' by Ofsted, this oversubscribed academy is continuing its strive for excellent, and is looking for an innovative and exciting practitioner to lead this key subject area. The academy is dedicated to providing a supportive and friendly team, and gives clear professional development opportunities for their staff.
This position will be paid to scale and will come with a TLR.
