Responsibilities for this Head of Science Teacher role would include;
*Line managing the Science department
*Teaching KS4 and KS5 classes within the Science department
*Providing high quality leadership and direction for the Faculty and to ensure it is well managed and organised in a way that meets the aims and objectives of the school
*Working as a team and share high level practises with colleagues to remain ahead of the game one of the leading departments within the school
*Genuinely caring about the education of your students, going above and beyond to see them succeed and achieve
*Setting clear expectations and follow up issues firmly and fairly, this will gain the respect of the students and aid you when teaching the classes
*Being an exceptional leader who can add great value within the department and school
Requirements for you as a Head of Science Teacher include;
*Holding a QTS holder (or equivalent teaching qualification)
*Having an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance and previous professional references that are at an average of Good or above
*Having a legal right to work in the UK
