Although the position is to fundamentally lead the Spanish department, the successful candidate will also need to offer French or German, at least to KS3. You will also have significant experience of teaching in a secondary school environment within the UK and delivered successful outcomes for students at Key Stage 4. Our client are fortunate in already having a very strong team in place with outstanding colleagues and inspirational leaders, working within excellent facilities. Ofsted's view (May 2019) that most teaching is "routinely outstanding" indicates the standard they set out to achieve in all classrooms. They therefore are looking to recruit a Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and clear evidence of their motivation and ability to deliver excellent outcomes for students. This appointment provides an opportunity to strengthen their department further with a new, talented and enthusiastic Head of Spanish who aspires to further promotion beyond this appointment.

You would be involved in the school's staff development programme by participating in arrangements for further training and professional development. You will be offered continue personal development in the relevant areas including subject knowledge and teaching methods. The school will ensure the effective/efficient deployment of classroom support.
