Are you an inspirational Head Teacher looking for a new challenge leading a new SEMH school?
Do you think you would be able to shape and create an SEN provision to an exceptionally high standard?

Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a highly successful Trust of schools to assist them in the appointment of a Head Teacher to lead this exciting venture from Easter 2020 (a later start day could be negotiated). They are seeking an exceptional educational practitioner to open a new independent day SEMH School for up to 66 secondary/FE aged pupils. As Head Teacher, you will be expected to design the curriculum and grow a nurturing and therapeutic environment to meet the needs of the students and produce positive outcomes. The successful Head Teacher will be paid between £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, with a relocation package potentially available for the right candidate.

The beautiful rural site is currently going through significant refurbishment and is based in Central Suffolk, East Anglia. It's located in 17 acres of parkland with wooded boundaries and is easily accessible from parts of Norfolk. This a great opportunity to expand and complement current SEMH provisions that are struggling to facilitate for all referrals due to full capacity.

You will be working with the Assistant Director of Education, who oversees several successful schools in the area. You will be instrumental in the staff recruitment and setup of the school in advance of opening in September 2020. You will ensure the school has effective management and the required team capability to continually improve as the school grows. As Head Teacher, you will promote a relentless focus on the quality of education and delivery of a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of children and young people along with producing positive outcomes.

You will be joining a high achieving company and team, leading your own outstanding school and positively impacting the lives of many young people. As part of our team you will focus on developing self-esteem and well being, as well as academic performance and development.

If you are a truly inspirational, highly motivated and forward-thinking individual, with the energy and passion to change lives, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. The Trust welcome staff who share their commitment to help children experience better days and better lives.
