Tradewind are currently looking for a Health and Social care teacher to work in a Leicester based sixth form college, to teach on a full time basis from 02/09/2019. The school appreciates the value and the transferable skills the subject offers, and are looking for someone who is passionate about their subject and can inspire students to achieve in this subject area. This position will begin ASAP and will continue until the end of October at this stage. Science Teachers with H&SC experience welcome to apply.

This position will be full time and pay will be scaled to MPS, meaning a teacher can expect to earn between £120 and £180 per day for this position. The school is looking for a teacher who can guide students through their Health and Social care coursework, and inspire students to continue with the subject post-school. Instructors without QTS but strong teaching experience in this area of expertise would be considered.

Having a strong 'student centred' approach, the school encourages applicants from nurturing practitioners who enjoy getting the best out of their students. They also welcome applications from practitioners who have worked at post-16 level, who can use their excellent subject knowledge to teach KS4 students.

The school has free onsite parking for those who drive, but due to the location of the school it is easily accessible via public transport.
