Tradewind are supporting a "Good" graded state school in need of an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support across year 1 to 6. This will involve taking whole class responsibility at times and assisting the teacher with their planning, prep and assessment.

The school is a good graded school and behaviour is generally quite good with a strong SLT in place. Although as this role requires you to support in different year groups across the school a degree of varying needs/behaviours/abilities will be present. You will need to be flexible, resilient and have excellent behaviour management strategies in order to best assist the required teacher & class.

This is a full-time role to start ASAP through to the end of the academic year. The Head teacher assures us that there is an excellent support structure in place for the right candidate with the prospect of career development within the school. This would perhaps suit someone who is keen to progress from a HLTA into a Teacher in the future.

Th school is based in Hemel Hempstead which is a large market town with excellent transport links, via train and bus. The school also has its own large car park and is a short drive from the M1.
The school benefits from large green open grounds with plenty of space and bright airy classrooms.

The salary for this role is between £17,500 to 23,000pa.
