Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

HLTA - Starting now - £100 to £140 per day based on experience - Level 4 HLTA Qualification or strong experience - Immediate trail/interview and start - Hitchin, Hertfordshire

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with over 2 years experience? Or perhaps you've a level 4 HLTA qualification and are looking for a new role that can offer career progression and a new challenge?

Located in Hitchin, Hertfordshire this large and well run Secondary Academy has a reputation for helping all students to make a great start to their educational journey. They have recently spent over a million pounds on an inclusive and specialised unit and creating a great teaching and learning environment. Working between the mains school and unit you will be responsible for leading small groups and providing 1:1 support to ensure all children get the one to one time they need to reach their potential.

As a HLTA at this school you will work with and support other TA's and work across a range of year groups so a confident HLTA who is able to develop people is essential.

The HLTA must:
*** 2+ years experience as a TA or Hold the Level 4 HLTA qualification
*** Have a positive classroom energy and be able to commit to a full time ongoing role
*** Posses strong communication skills and be able to engage well with colleagues, children, parents and outside third parties
*** Have an upbeat and positive attitude
*** Be available for a full time post for the next calender year and ideally beyond
