Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant that holds a level 4 HLTA qualification? Are you looking for a new role in a Primary School based in Bedfordshire?

Tradewind is working with a fantastic Primary school that are looking to appoint a HLTA to start in September! This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic community school and help young students achieve the best results they can.

Located in Bedford this 'Good' School is in a rural location that allows children to connect to nature. The School like to challenge children to strive for academic, creative, sporting, and personal accomplishment within a broad curriculum.

If successful you will become part of the KS2 team and be required to support the class teacher. You will also cover lessons in the teachers absence, support small groups of pupils and deliver interventions.

Criteria:

• Level 4 HLTA qualification
• Have recent experience in a similar role
• Ideally live locally to the School or within a commutable distance
• Be able to engage well with colleagues, children and their parents
• Be available and willing to commit for the academic year with the potential to go permanent
• Can commit to full-time hours
• Committed individual, team player and someone who wants to make a positive impact
• KS2 experience
• Available from September and can interview now
