Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Trafford

Tradewind Manchester are working with a Primary School in Trafford who are looking for a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (Level 4) to join their team ASAP. It is a position starting ASAP but could lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

This two form entry Primary School need an enthusiastic and passionate Level 4 HLTA who has a real commitment to ensuring every child achieves their potential. You will be required to support teaching and learning across Early Years and KS1, covering teachers' PPA, Leadership and Management time and if required, staff absences. You will be working Monday to Friday, term time only, 8:30am-4:00pm. This role would also be ideal for a qualified teacher who is looking to step away from full time teaching.

A successful candidate must:

  • HLTA Level 4 TA Qualification or higher
  • Have Primary School experience
  • Have an updated DBS or be willing to complete a new one
  • Be comfortable teaching whole classes when need
  • Be able to commit until July 2023
  • Experience with behaviour management strategies
