We are working with a friendly, vibrant school in Leytonstone! The headteacher is keen to recruit two experienced HLTA's or unqualified teachers who have with good experience and knowledge of the KS1 and lower KS2 curriculum. You must be confident covering classes and able to communicate effectively with class teachers.

The role is due to begin in September 2019 (interviews are being held ASAP) and is for the full academic year 2019/20. The school are interviewing ASAP so if you think this role sounds like a good fit for you please get in contact ASAP.

The role requires an engaging, self-assured education professional who has experience supporting primary aged pupils and will have a confident grasp KS2 curriculum. You will predominantly be covering years 1, 3 and 4.

The school offer a friendly, vibrant team, lots of support and excellent communication from leadership.

The school is located in close to Leytonstone Station (central line) and is easily accessed by a number of regular bus routes.

The head teacher is looking for an Higher Level teaching assistant who:

*Has a good academic background, ideally you will be degree educated however if you demonstrate great experience within primary schools they would love to hear from you!
*Has an engaging, confident approach - able to build positive relationships with pupils
*Has excellent primary school experience
*Excellent knowledge of the KS1 and Lower KS2 curriculum

The person

This role requires someone who is:

*Good knowledge of the primary curriculum
*Able to cover classes (years 1, 3 and 4)
*Confident classroom management
*Excellent level of grammar, English
*A friendly, positive communicator
*HLTA experience would be great!
*May have experience running clubs
