About the School - History NQT - Barking and Dagenham, East London

*This East London school is looking for two History NQTs to join their friendly History Department from September.
*The Barking and Dagenham Ofsted rated 'Good' school is inclusive and all students are welcome to work towards the school's ethos for achievement for all.
*As a part of a small trust of schools, the opportunities available to staff are superb. CPD is given by highly trained practitioners and there are career development prospects across the network of schools.
*NQTs will be supported through a thorough induction programme where they will have regular observations by their NQT Mentor and opportunities to observe other members of staff to improve their teaching style.
*The school is located close to Central Romford, and can be accessed by national rail and by at A12.


About the Role - History NQT - Barking and Dagenham, East London

*This permanent NQT History Teacher role would be suitable for a trainee teacher who has a real passion for engaging students of all abilities and backgrounds, and who can teach History from KS3 to KS5 comfortably.
*The successful candidates will have strong subject knowledge and be able to inspire students to attend trips and join the History Club at the school.
*At GCSE, Elizabethan England, The Cold War, USA Conflict, Medicine and Britain on the Western Front is taught, and in 2018 at GCSE, 58% of students achieved Grades 9-4.
*This permanent role will suit an individual who is enthusiastic and who is able to build strong relationships with students.
*The school is accepting applications from NQTs with a relevant degree from a good university.
