Are you an inspiring, passionate and dedicated History Teacher looking to secure a new role next term?
A large 11 to 18 school in South Essex is currently recruiting for a History Teacher to join their team of staff from September. As a full-time History Teacher you will take on the full 360 teaching role and you will be required to plan and prepare your lessons, mark and assess work, as well as attend staff meetings and parents' evenings when required. Due to the schools location it is easily accessible by car or public transport (especially from Basildon and Southend-on-Sea) and has on-site parking for staff and visitors.
This is a large Ofsted rated "Good" school with a great reputation in South Essex. The school have around 1500 students on roll and a growing sixth form. The school is highly successful and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere in which students feel safe and happy. The hard-working and dedicated team of staff are very proud of the school and their students' achievements. The school has modern facilities and offers a broad and varied curriculum. The successful History Teacher will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.

Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
