Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding History Teacher to work at a local Scunthorpe education establishment on a full time basis. You will primarily be teaching GCSE History to Key Stage 4 students, but there is also some first year History teaching on the timetable, meaning a practitioner with experience teaching to A Level would definitely be desirable for this role. You will be teaching initially up until Easter 2020, but there is the possibility for extension.

The education establishment has an extremely good reputation in the local area, and staff working on a supply basis are welcomed with open arms and treated like permanent members of staff. Due to the fact that you will be working with A level students, we ask that the successful candidate has experience working with A level students, and experience with the AQA exam board is also most welcomed, as this is the exam board that you will be working with. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role will be expected for this position, and for that reason the successful candidate can expect to be paid to scale for this role. In real terms, this means that the successful candidate can expect to earn between £110.00 and £184.00 per day for this role.


The School in question is a large educational setting with excellent transport links. Being in the centre of Scunthorpe, it is easily accessible from: Scunthorpe, Grimsby, Brigg and Lincoln. You will be teaching in a department with an excellent Head of department who will aid your development. Due to the nature of working with exam classes and A Level classes, we can only accept applications from teachers with experience.
