Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated History Teacher to cover a maternity leave position. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mainly History, with occasional teaching in other subject areas as required. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join our team and contribute to the educational development of our students for the remainder of the academic year until July 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective History lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' historical understanding and critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share innovative teaching resources and strategies.
• Monitor and report on student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
• Participate in departmental meetings and school events as necessary.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Proven experience in teaching History to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for history education.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt and teach in other subject areas when needed.
