Tradewind are looking for a passionate teacher of History in SW London who has the ability to inspire a love of the subject.
The History Department at our Client school consists of five teachers in total, who together form a friendly, dynamic team with high aspirations for all students.
They have a successful track record of outstanding results at both GCSE and A Level and History has proven to be a very popular subject at the school. The team fosters creativity, independent thinking and uses a variety of techniques to develop and enhance transferable skills. They use a variety of extra curricular activities and trips to enhance their classroom practice.
This voluntary aided Roman Catholic School (for girls aged 11-18) works in curriculum partnership with another local Catholic boys school and share a co-ed sixth form.

The school puts great emphasis on staff development and training and can offer internal and external training opportunities to develop skills and assist with your career development. Staff will receive a personalised development programme tailored to their individual training needs. Staff Induction If your employment commences at the start of the academic year in September you will be invited for an induction day in your first few weeks. For all other new staff, induction will be arranged at a mutually convenient time either prior to employment or as soon as possible.

*Have the ability to teach History to a high standard and motivate students across all abilities
*Have a proven track record of success teaching at all key stages
*Be a consistently outstanding teacher
*Be committed, flexible and innovative in your teaching methods
*Be able to support the Head of Department to motivate others in the pursuit of continuous improvement within the department.
