*This South London school encourages teaching staff to be creative and innovative in their teaching practice. Staff are very experienced and have excellent subject knowledge, teaching students to high standards and instilling a strong ambition to succeed and learn.
*Attainment at the school is significantly above national averages for virtually all subjects and all groups of students. In 2018, 50% of students in the History Department achieved grades A* and A, and at GCSE 79% secured 4+.

About the Role - History Teacher - Southwark, South London

*The school is accepting applications from both experienced teachers and NQTs, who would be supported throughout the induction year and beyond.
*The History Department is highly collaborative and supportive, ensuring that its teachers adopt a corporate approach without sacrificing our creativity and independence.
*At Key Stage 3, students are encouraged to develop a love and passion for the study of History. The school follows the AQA History GCSE at Key Stage 4 and at A Level.
*The ability to teach Geography and or RE is desirable but is not essential. The successful candidate will be paid MPS/UPS on the Inner London Wage.
