Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an experienced HLTA looking for your next role in Barnsley?

We are seeking a part-time HLTA to start in as soon as possible. The position is for 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday, with the opportunity for additional work on Fridays on an ad hoc basis. They are looking for a committed HLTA who is open to a permanent contract later in the year. The salary will range from £21,000-£25,000 pro rata.
The school is a friendly primary school with a 'Good' Ofsted report. It is based close to the border of Sheffield/Barnsley. They pride themselves on ensuring pupils feel valued members of the school community. They use a creating curriculum to develop enquiring minds and inspire children with enterprising ideas. They encourage values of kindness, gentleness, goodness, self-control and patience. They are a global expert hub school and have many awards in this area.
They are looking for a fantastic HLTA to work across the whole primary age range. The successful candidate will largely be covering lessons when the class teachers have their PPA time. Planning will be left for classes covered. You will be working from EYFS to Year 6.
Upon visiting the school, Tradewind were impressed with the warm welcome by all members of staff at the school. The excellent behaviours of the pupils really stand out. It was great to see the fantastic facilities within the school including excellent ICT equipment.
Essential requirements:
Proven HLTA experience in a primary school setting, HLTA qualification or equivalent, legal right to work in the UK
