Are you currently a Higher Level Teaching Assistant seeking a new opportunity within education from January? Or are you an experienced TA/LSA who has experience covering classes looking to take a step up to HLTA on a regular basis? Then we want to hear from you!

Tradewind are currently recruiting for talented and motivated individuals that can work closely with teaching and support staff in school to promote excellent learning outcomes for the pupils in your care.

As a HLTA you will:

-Assist the teacher(s) with preparation of work.

-Be utilised across the school to cover PPA release time and unplanned absences.

-Deliver whole class, group and 1:1 lessons.

-Mark, assess and report on all students in line with school policies.

-Monitor student progress and give pupils specific feedback that will help students to reach their full potential as required.

-Implement differentiated work to allow accessibility and challenge for all students.

-Implement and support all school policies.

-Have an input in classroom displays and teaching resources.

-Reasonable duties directed by the Teachers & Leadership Team.

*Existing experience teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, whilst not essential, would be an advantage.

To join us and be successful in this Higher Level Teaching Assistant role role you will need to:
Hold level 4 HLTA status or have the relevant teaching experience.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
