About the School: Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a dedicated SEND school in Liverpool, catering to 250 pupils aged 2-11 years across two sites. The school supports children with:
- Severe Learning Difficulties
- Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties
- Complex Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
Role Overview: The school is seeking several enthusiastic HLTA's passionate about working with children with special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct learning intervention activities with individuals or small groups.
- Provide PPA and cover supervision.
- Support subject or aspect leaders in developing school-wide provision.
- Line manage designated LSA apprentices.
Candidate Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of severe learning difficulties and early childhood development.
- HLTA Qualification (or Early Career Teacher status).
- DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
