Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting and challenging new role in education?

We are currently seeking talented individuals to join a Specialist Education Team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in supporting schools across the local authority to provide high-quality education and support for students with special educational needs and disabilities. Along with your allocated Lead Teacher you will support in managing a caseload of schools, working collaboratively with school staff to establish support programs, model good practice, and provide high-quality training.

Your responsibilities will include working flexibly across different age ranges to meet the needs of the children, providing targeted interventions, and supporting the social and academic development of our students.

You will be expected to work closely with teachers, support staff, parents, and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have a Level 4 or higher teaching assistant qualification, with at least two years' experience working in a similar role.

You should have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

You should also have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
