Are you an engaging and committed Humanities teacher seeking a new teaching position next term?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a medium sized secondary school in Braintree, who are seeking a full-time Teacher of Humanities to join their team from January 2021. The successful teacher will be expected to plan and deliver inspiring Humanities lessons to KS3 and KS4 students on a full-time basis. They can consider specialists across all disciplines, however if you can teach History to KS4 this could prove advantageous.

The school is part of a successful and supportive Trust and can consider applications for NQT's and those with experience. The role will be until the end of the academic year at least with the school offering a temporary contract or temporary to permanent arrangement. They are looking for staff of the highest calibre who have an excellent understanding of their subject and can motivate, challenge and inspire students.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic school and work alongside a hard-working and supportive team of staff. This position would suit a passionate, dedicated and motivational Humanities teacher eager to achieve and make a lasting difference.

The successful Humanities Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE level at least and ideally have a history of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the Humanities curriculum.

To be successful in this Humanities Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
