Tradewind are working alongside a well run and popular Secondary School in Welwyn Garden City for a Humanities Teacher to start from January 2024 on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a full time post with full teaching responsibilities paying a daily salary from MPS 1 - UPS3. All experience levels are welcome to apply including ECT's and interviews are expected to be held across the upcoming term.

This is an Good Academy school who have recently completed an internal improvement plan and have Outstanding firmly in their sites. This is a popular and now over-subscribed school in Welwyn Garden City that has improved dramatically and consistently over the last 3 years under the current Head. Covering Key stages 3 and 4 there is scope to offer your Humanities Specialism or teach and support two subjects if desired.
To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
- Experience or recent qualification teaching either Geography, History or Religious Education / Religious Studies
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
