Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting for a charming secondary school and sixth form in the Basildon district, who are seeking a Computer Science/ICT Teacher to join their welcoming team. The school able to consider applications from specialists in either field or a someone who can teach both, they can also support applications from NQT's as well as those with experience. The school can offer either a permanent/fixed term contract or temporary to permanent arrangement. The role will be for the full 2020/2021 academic year at least.
This is a 'Good' school that continues to go from strength to strength. The successful Computer Science/ICT Teacher will be:
Able to confidently teach pupils up to GCSE level at least and ideally have a proven track record of successful exam results.
A committed practitioner who is passionate about their subject, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of their lessons through creative approaches to the ICT/Computer Science curriculum.
A personable character who is keen to form positive working relationships with staff and students.
To be successful in this Computer Science/ICT Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
The school is accessible by public transport and car, with plenty of onsite parking available for staff and students. Although in central Essex, the school also falls into the London Fringe pay scale.
