Tradewind are currently working with an excellent school in Gainsborough, who are in need of an ICT/Computer Science teacher until May half term. This may well be extended until the end of the academic year. This position will be paid to scale, meaning a teacher can expect to earn between £120 and £179.00 per day. All planning and marking that is associated with a teaching role will be included in this booking, hence it being paid to scale. This is an absolute pivotal time in the teaching calendar, so the school is looking for a strong specialist who can assist with the department and use their expert subject knowledge.

The academy is part of a large and extremely successful multi-academy chain, but is the only school in the area under this branch. The academy has come on leaps and bounds in recent years, and is a truly enjoyable place for staff to work in. The ICT/Computing team is an extremely strong team. All teachers who are working at the school are welcomed as if they are a permanent member of staff, and will be given all the rights of a permanent member of staff. Having members of staff in the academy on a long term basis, they thoroughly enjoy working at the academy.

A strong knowledge in ICT is absolutely essential for this position, and the ability to plan your own lessons, often adapting already excellent resources, is something that we will certainly need. A teacher who is flexible and willing to adapt would be highly favoured. If you have a different specialism in the computing field (for example Business studies or Computer Science), we would certainly be interested in hearing from you.

If ICT is not your first subject, but you have experience teaching it up to GCSE level, we would certainly be interested in hearing from you.

*A teacher with QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification.
