This 3-form entry Outstanding primary school in the Lambeth area of South London are currently looking for a year 6 intervention teacher to join the team focusing on preparing small groups of high achieving students for their SATs. The position is full time, starting as soon as possible ahead of the KS2 SATs in May, with an annual salary is up to £40,000.

This large Primary school is one of the highest performing schools in Lambeth and England. In 2014 and 2016 they were recognized by the Sunday Times as being one of the top 500 schools in the country. After a recent Ofsted inspection, they have achieved the highest possible grades in all areas and have been rated as an Outstanding school overall. The Headteacher is keen to recruit a year 6 intervention teacher to join the team after Easter in the 4 weeks leading up to SATs. You will be an additional teacher therefore instead of having your own class, you will support high achieving students in smaller focus groups.

The year 6 intervention teacher must:
*Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Be experienced teaching children in year 6
*Have good knowledge and understanding of key stage 2 SATs
*Challenge learners and commit to upholding high standards
*Have a positive work ethic and offer support to others
