Tradewind Recruitment are working alongside a large secondary academy based in Bedfordshire who are looking to appoint a learning mentor with previous experience of raising attainment and closing the gap in learning for any pupils who are not reaching set targets. You will work alongside class teachers to differentiate work and ensure pupils are receiving full access to the curriculum. This role will require you to work across Key Stage three and four.

You'll be required to work on a one to one basis and with small groups, leading focused lesson's and creating and following Independent Education Plans in conjunction with the schools SENCO. Experience of dealing with pupils or young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties.

The Learning mentor must have the following requirements:
** Experience of working alongside SEMH pupils, ideally within an educational setting
** Have a excellent knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum
** Have a creative approach and a positive work ethic
** Be able to engage positively with colleagues, children and parents
** Have an excitement, passion and enthusiasm about teaching and learning
