Tradewind recruitment are recruiting a skilled and experienced teacher to support Upper KS2 (Year 5 and 6) from September 2020.

The role is on a part time basis (3 days per week) for the academic year 2020/2021.

This wonderful two form entry primary is located in a vibrant area of Haringey and children are from a rich variety of cultures, languages, religions and ethnic groups. The school work hard to provide children with opportunities to develop socially, emotionally, academically and physically to achieve the highest possible standards. The school was graded good in their most recent Ofsted and have achieved above average results in last year's national assessments.

The role:

The role will involve supporting small intervention groups of varying abilities in upper KS2 with a focus on English and Maths. You will be responsible for planning and assessing children's work and will be focused on raising attainment for your targeted pupils. You will be an innovative, creatively minded teacher who has excellent knowledge of the curriculum, a fun teaching approach and commitment to your students to give them the very best opportunities to succeed at school.

Essential requirements:

QTS (Qualified teacher status)
Experienced teaching KS2
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional school references
