The role is due to start in September 2020 with the view of permanent employment for the right candidate. The position is paying M1 to M6 dependent on experience.
The three form entry Primary School aim to provide a supportive and caring environment with inspirational teaching that motivates pupils to become lifelong learners. They aim to make lessons creative and fun and academically stimulating. The Primary School is well known in the local community for their high expectations for staff and pupils. They welcome children and staff from a wide range of backgrounds, abilities and talents. The Headteacher is looking for a practitioner who has previous experience raising attainment and closing the gap in learning for any pupils who are not reaching set targets. You will work alongside class teachers to differentiate work and ensure pupils are receiving full access to the curriculum. This role will require you to work across Key Stage One and Key Stage Two.
The Intervention teacher must have the following requirements:
*Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications)
*Have excellent knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum
*Have a creative approach and a positive work ethic
*Be able to engage positively with colleagues, children and parents
*Has an excitement, passion and enthusiasm about teaching and learning
