Are you looking for a role right now? Available to start immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year, this OFSTED rated Outstanding Mainstream Primary School in Hounslow is looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to teach their Speech and Language Class.

Feedback from staff about the class and the school is always positive. The school is lovely and the children and very enjoyable to work with. You would be teaching 8 pupils, all with an Educational Health Care Plan for Speech and Language Difficulties. There is a permanent class Teaching Assistant on hand to support you and a Key Stage 2 teacher for the year group above.

Within the class, there are some mixed levels with one reception child and three Year 3 pupils who are currently working at a Year 1 level. All students are following the national curriculum and the class day is run in the same way a mainstream primary class would be.

We are looking for someone who is available to fill this urgent vacancy for the duration required. A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to differentiate lessons to support individual learning needs is essential. Experience with Speech and Language intervention is highly desired. This position is best suited to teachers who have experience working with Speech and Language difficulties or have worked with the KS1 Curriculum.

KS1 Primary Teacher for Speech and Language Unit:
*Based in Hounslow, Immediate start
*To continue until the end of the academic year
*Speech and Language Unit on Mainstream Primary site
*10 Pupils
*1 Teaching Assistant in the class
*No Behavioural Difficulties
*The School is OFSTED Rated Outstanding

The ideal candidate for this SEN Teacher role will:
*Hold Qualified Teacher Status
*Be a qualified teacher, comfortable teaching both at functional skills and foundation level.
*Be experienced in, or comfortable working in an environment with students aged EYF-KS2 with a variety of special needs, who present challenging behaviour.
