Intervention Teacher

Tradewind are working with a school in the Rotherham area seeking to appoint a qualified teacher to work with a group of underachieving pupils across Key Stage 2.
The position is part time 3 days a week Monday - Wednesday and would suit a teacher with experience getting the best results for students across KS2, particularly in Year 6. Applications from NQT's with experience in Year 6 also welcome.
The successful candidate will be working with small groups of up to 6 children at a time, some with additional and complex needs such as Autism and Speech and Language difficulties. You should also have a good level of Maths and English and be confident in supporting these subjects from Year 3 to Year 6 including the most recent SAT's examinations.
The school is a large multi form entry primary and is well equipped with resources to engage young learners including an IT suite and access to I pads. Outdoor learning is also encourages and the school has a large playing fields to utilise for outdoor learning in fine weather.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a scheme of work focused on individual learners gaps in skills and knowledge and will also have responsibility for assessment to tracking progress and feed this back to class teachers. Previous experience of working with children with SEN would also be a benefit, particularly experience of ASD.
The school has secure private parking for staff and is accessible easily from the M18 motorway as well as on public transport.

Pay £130 - 150.00 per day

Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
