Intervention Teacher

Are you an experienced Intervention Teacher or HLTA with a passion for helping students bridge the gap created by home schooling? Would you be able to support pupils and lead small groups with numeracy and literacy classes, creating a fun and engaging approach to pupils learning?

Tradewind are working with a number of exceptional St Albans based Secondary schools with long term staffing requirements to support their bright and engaging students as they return to their classrooms! The schools offer ongoing full and part time (3 day a week minimum) roles as well as shorter term cover to suit.

** Intervention Teacher

** Role to start as soon as school reopens through to end of academic year

** Paid on a daily rate between £75 and £140 based on experience and qualification level

** ''Outstanding' and Good' Ofsted Schools with the desire to help all their students

Tradewind are proud to be working alongside every St Albans Secondary school and supporting the counties pupils as they transition back into the classroom setting. As a result of the diversity of the requirements for specific pupils we are keen to hear from education professionals, including teachers and support staff, looking to return to work either from a career break or following the school closures. To join us and be successful in this/ Intervention role you will need to have:


** Teaching or Classroom support ideally with Secondary aged pupils
** Excellent Numeracy and literacy skills. Knowledge of the curriculum's is also advantageous
** A positive approach and infectious can do attitude for your pupils.
** Experience of working with children or young people with ADHD, complex needs and ASD.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks and you must be happy to make the initial payment for the check which can be claimed back once you have worked 20 days for Tradewind.
