Intervention Teacher for Year 2 & Year 3

SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with a two-form entry primary school currently looking for Intervention Teacher for Year 2 and Year 3 to join their team in February half term 2021.

The Intervention Teacher position will continue until the end of the academic year with the opportunity for a permanent contract for September 2021. This two-form entry primary school is base in the London borough of Wandsworth and is proud to be the first purpose built Muslim Voluntary Aided Primary School in the Country. The modern accommodation boasts comfortable, well-equipped classrooms, a swimming pool and large sports hall. The school is undergoing expansion from two to three forms of entry. This an inclusive school community and thier pupils come from diverse cultures and backgrounds, with over 25 languages spoken by our families. This Intervention Teaching position is paying a salary grade range on the main Scale or Upper Pay Scale depending on experience, £34,480 - £49,571 per annum.

The Headteacher of this primary school is currently looking for a resilient Intervention Teacher to work across Year 2 and Year 3 who is keen on being part of an exciting school community and have a passion for making a positive impact.

As a Year 2 and Year 3 Intervention teacher you will work closely with the Keys Stage 1 and Lower Key Stage 2 phase leaders and teachers to ensure progress for all pupils.

To be shortlisted for this Year 2 and Year 3 Intervention Teacher role, you need to:

  • Have proven track record in Year 2 and 3
  • Have experienced in planning lessons that extend students learning and challenges them
  • Experience preparing and SATs
  • Set high expectations for yourself and pupils
  • Able to bring fresh new ideas
  • Able to encourage children to develop a passion for learning
  • Have the desire to lead and work in a team
