We are recruiting Intervention Teaching Assistants for a Primary School in Manchester to start January 2021.


The roles are to work in partnership with class teachers to support learning in line with the national curriculum, in particular, to provide support to pupils who have fallen behind during lockdown.

Understanding the specific learning needs and styles of children to provide differentiated support to them individually and within a group is key to this role.

Another key part of the role is to implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils' responses as appropriate.

Successful teaching assistants will need to have Level 3, excellent literacy and numeracy skills as well as strategies to support the gaps children will have in literacy and numeracy.
