An Ofsted rated good primary school close to Tottenham are recruiting a Interventions TA to start in December 2020! The role is full time, 5 days per week.

This is an exciting role for someone with excellent English language skills, good subject knowledge of the curriculum in KS1 and KS2, and minimum one years' good experience working in a primary school setting. You must have good experience working in a primary school and you will need to demonstrate excellent teaching skills, knowledge of the primary curriculum, and a real desire to make a positive difference in children's learning!

The role:

The role will involve supporting children in KS1 and KS2 on a 1-1 basis or in small groups and you will be providing precision interventions based on the areas of learning that the children are struggling with. You will be able to engage children, manage behaviour and confidently teach a set programme of interventions. You will work with class teachers to adapt work and will need to build positive relationships with pupils. You will need to identity learning styles and will adapt your teaching style appropriately to ensure that progress is made.

The role requires an engaging personality and someone who has experience supporting primary aged pupils. You must have a confident grasp of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and may have previously worked as a TA or HLTA or teacher.

The school is located in close to Tottenham Hale station and is easily accessed by a number of bus routes.

The head teacher is looking for an HLTA/Interventions TA who:
*Has a good academic background, ideally you will be degree educated however if you demonstrate experience within a primary school.
*Has an engaging, confident approach - able to build positive relationships with pupils
*Has recent previous primary school experience (at least one year)
*You will have already worked as a TA/HLTA or teacher

This role requires someone who is:
*Confident knowledge of the primary curriculum
*Able to teach small groups- precision interventions
*Excellent level of grammar, English
*A friendly, positive personality
*Team player
