Tradewind are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Isolation Room Supervisor. This temporary position is a crucial role in maintaining a positive and structured environment for challenging students.

As the Isolation Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

1. Supervising Isolation Room: Oversee the isolation room, ensuring a safe and secure environment for students.

2. Behaviour Management: Utilise previous experience in dealing with challenging student behaviours. Implement strategies to manage and de-escalate disruptive situations.

3. Adaptability: Demonstrate adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of students. Adjust strategies and approaches based on individual requirements.

4. Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with students to encourage personal growth and behavioural improvement.

5. Proactive Approach: Take a proactive stance in maintaining a structured environment. Implement measures to prevent and address behavioural issues.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in behaviour management.

- Strong understanding of dealing with challenging student behaviours.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to adapt to changing situations and think on your feet.

- Proven ability to build positive relationships with students.

- Proactive and organised approach to maintaining structure in the isolation room.

- Patience and resilience in dealing with challenging situations.

Temporary position until Christmas, with the possibility of extension based on school needs.
