About the Role:

As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will leverage your extensive National Curriculum knowledge to lead and inspire your class. Join forces with fellow class teachers and teaching assistants to deliver tailored support and encouragement to the students. Your responsibilities will include confidently managing your classroom, planning and executing engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, setting achievable targets, recording assessments accurately, and caring for the well-being of both your class and the broader school community. Collaboration with colleagues and external professionals is crucial to providing optimal support to pupils. Additionally, you'll take ownership of personal reflection and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confidently manage your classroom.
  • Plan and deliver diverse lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Set and track achievable targets, recording assessments accurately.
  • Prioritise the well-being of students and collaborate with the pastoral team.
  • Work collaboratively with staff members and external professionals.
  • Take responsibility for personal reflection and professional development.
