Tradewind Recruitment is working with a great school in the London borough of Enfield, which is seeking an experienced key stage 1 teacher to undertake a full-time Year 2 role from September, for the 2020/21 academic year. Salary will be in line with the MPS, outer London (presently £28355 - £40035), depending on experience.
The school is seeking a dedicated and ambitious teacher who is able to motivate pupils and to bring positive energy and enthusiasm to the class. The school is popular locally and has a well-deserved reputation.
The school is a mixed, multicultural, community environment. It is a "good" school and the staff here work closely as a team.
The school welcomes applications from experienced candidates and newly qualified teachers (NQT) are also welcome to apply.
For this Key Stage 1 Teacher role, the school is seeking candidates who:
Demonstrate excellent national curriculum knowledge.
Are able to motivate and inspire students to learn.
Are highly motivated, with good initiative initiative.
Demonstrate a variety of teaching and learning strategies that they use effectively.
Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Are willing to contribute to the broader life of the school.
Are potentially interested in taking on responsibility for a curriculum area.
The core duties of this Year 2 Teacher role are:
To provide a high-quality educational experience for all children by leading learning in school, developing consistent practice in teaching and learning, and ensuring that children achieve the highest standards of attainment and achievement.
To support the ethos, aims, and vision of the school
You will take full responsibility for teaching a Year 2 class, assisted by a full-time teaching assistant
The school is packed with talented and motivated people, creating a vibrant and successful team.
To join us and be successful in this Year 2 Teacher role you will need to:
Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
