Key Stage 1 Teacher

Tradewind is working with an excellent Hertford school as they look to recruit a Key Stage 1 Teacher to take on either a Year 1 or Year 2 class from January! Could this long-term role starting in January be the role you have been looking for?

***Primary Teacher - Key Stage 1 (Year 1 or 2 available)
***January till July 2021 with an opportunity to go permanent
***Hertford, Hertfordshire - £130 to £190 per day based on experience
***Ofsted 'Good' two form entry school with excellent behaviour

Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a wonderful Hertfordshire school. The full-time role in Key Stage 1 will Start in January 2021 and last until the end of the academic year with the opportunity to take on a permanent role based on performance. Due to the current set up at the school there is an opportunity to teach in Year 1 or 2 based on preference. Upon successful appointment, you will be paid a competitive rate based on your experience.

The headteacher is looking for a Year 2 teacher who will be able to build supportive relationships with families that will enhance the children's learning experience.


As one of the schools Key Stage 1 teachers you will:

*Plan and Teach a balanced and diverse curriculum alongside colleagues
*Assess, track, and report on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Establish a clear routine for pupils
*Encourage pupils engage with learning through targeted questioning
*Establish positive relationships with parents and carers
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment.


We are looking for applicants who:
*Have Qualified Teacher Status - a completed induction is not necessary and can be provided
*Is committed to providing creative and inspiring learning experiences
*Is motivated, energetic and fun!
*Has excellent communication skills, use of initiative and organisational skills
*Has an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Has the right to work in the U.K
