The Governors of a Kirkby-based Primary School are looking for an excellent, dedicated and motivated teacher to cover maternity leave in a Y1/2 class.

Working in collaboration with a team of dedicated staff, Tradewind Recruitment want to ensure that pupils receive an inspirational education based around the mission statement: One family, belonging, believing and learning together.

Children at school are the greatest advert: they are vibrant, enthusiastic and keen to learn. Staff are also blessed with fabulous outdoor space that is developed and utilised to ensure the children access quality outdoor education.

We are looking for someone with strong experience of teaching phonics in KS1, as well as administering the phonics screening check. The successful candidate will also have experience of teaching the Y2 curriculum, especially preparation for KS1 assessments.


We are looking for a candidate who is:
-An excellent, inspiring and creative classroom practitioner who can help us to build upon previous successes;

-A teacher with experience of KS1 SATs and Phonics Screening.
