About the School - Key Stage 1 Teacher - Redbridge, East London
This larger than average 3 form entry Primary school located in the vibrant, cosmopolitan London Borough of Islington is looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 teacher with an option to take on either Year 1 or 2. Although this is a large school it manages to retain a friendly feel and turnover for a school of this size is lower than average. The school takes in a variety of students from a range of cultural and class backgrounds. There is a larger proportion of students from eastern Europe and far larger than average numbers of EAL students hence the school has a strong focus on raising attainment levels in literacy. Behaviour at the school is good although as a large school it feels a busy, fast paced place to be. Parents are supportive of the teachers and a strong leadership who provide plenty of support has meant that the school has been improving year on year.
