Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for an exciting Teaching Assistant position within a large Primary school in South Manchester, supporting within Key Stage 2. This role is to commence in January 2021 for a minimum of two terms, with a view to becoming a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

With children having missed months of learning last academic year the school are focusing on raising attainment and help children catch up on missed learning.
They are seeking an experienced practitioner who can deliver targeted KS2 interventions, focusing on core subject support.
You will witness first hand how your support and input not only improves childrens academic levels; but also enhances their well being, happiness and confidence.

This is a school with high expectations of learners, where children are encouraged to develop an enthusiasm and passion for learning. You will require exceptional behaviour management skills and have experience supporting various SEN, it will be favourable if the successful candidate holds Team Teach but not essential.

To be eligible to apply for this role you will need:
* Recent Experience in supporting pupils 1:1 and within a classroom
* KS2 SAT's Knowledge and experience in raising attainment and carrying out interventions
* Experience and knowledge of SEND, EAL and behaviour strategies
* Experience in raising attainment for small groups in preparation for assessments
* A positive and passionate approach to children's education
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work
* The Ability to deliver fun and activities in line with the national curriculum
