The role will start ASAP and will continue for the academic year, until July 2021 and this is a full-time role. Salary will be in line with the MPS, outer London (presently £29915 - £41136), depending on experience.

The school has been through a period of change over the last few years, where standards have not been as high as expected at this school and things are now picking up, due to the hard work and dedication of the team.

There is a great atmosphere at the school, with good behaviour and the pupils are motivated and enjoy a challenge. They are proud of their school.

The Role:
This is not a class teacher role! The school is seeking a teacher to work with Year 6 as a Booster Teacher and to take part in intervention work to give support to help raise attainment levels and standards. The three Year 6 classes will be split in the mornings and afternoons. In the mornings, you will be working with a small group of 10-15 pupils to help with English, reading and Maths. In the afternoon, your focus will switch to intervention work for English, reading and comprehension. Planning will be done with the class teachers on a Wednesday afternoon.

Key Requirements:
You will need to be an experienced teacher, with recent Year 6 teaching experience and a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum. You will need to be a very good communicator, be adaptable and flexible and be able to identify areas where pupils need additional input, working closely with the class teachers. A team focus is a must!

Key Requirements:
To be considered for this Year 6 intervention role, you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Have recent Year 6 experience and a very strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
