Tradewind Recruitment is working with a great school in the London borough of Barnet, which is seeking an experienced key stage 2 teacher to undertake a full-time role from September, for the 2020/21 academic year. Salary will be in line with the MPS, outer London (presently £28355 - £40035), depending on experience.



The school is seeking a dedicated and ambitious teacher who is able to motivate pupils and to bring positive energy and enthusiasm to the class. The school is popular locally and has a well-deserved reputation.



The school is a mixed, multicultural, community environment. It is a "good" school and the staff here work closely as a team. The most recent Ofsted report praises the dedication of the team and leadership at the school for the improvements that the school has seen.

The school is modern, with lovely, light classrooms and excellent facilities and resources.



The actual year group is to be decided, depending on the school needs at the time and there may be some flexibility, but it will be in key stage 2.



Whilst the Headteacher would ideally like to appoint an experienced teacher to join the team, they will also consider outstanding newly qualified teachers (NQT).

The core duties of this key stage 2 teacher role are:

To provide a high-quality educational experience for all children by leading learning in school, developing consistent practice in teaching and learning and ensuring that children achieve the highest standards of attainment and achievement.
To support the ethos, aims, and vision of the school
You will take responsibility for teaching a key stage 2 class

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
