Tradewind Recruitment is working with a school in the London borough of Barnet, which is seeking a key stage 2 teacher to undertake a full-time role from September, for the 2020/21 academic year. Salary will be in line with the MPS, outer London (presently £28355 - £40035), depending on experience.
This is a really good, 2-form entry primary school, located in Barnet borough, North West London. The Headteacher has been at the school for almost 10 years and leads the school from the front, supported by a very good, committed senior leadership team. The Head is passionate about delivering quality education to the pupils in the school and as a result, the school has a lovely, positive, creative atmosphere.
The Headteacher is seeking an enthusiastic, positive and professional teacher, with a minimum of 1 years' experience, as they unfortunately do not have the capacity to assist with induction year for an NQT.
The school is a mixed, multicultural, community environment and they are a well-respected resource at the heart of the local community.
Well-resourced throughout, they have very good IT provision as well as PE, Music and Art specialists who work with the children each week.
The school has parking and is close to a mainline station.
The actual year group is to be decided, depending on the school needs at the time and there may be some flexibility, but it will be in key stage 2. Children make good progress at the school in key stage 2 and are at levels in line with the national average by the time they leave the school for secondary schools.
For this Key Stage 2 Teacher role, the school is seeking candidates who:

The core duties of this key stage 2 teacher role:
The duties and expectations of the role will be those usually associated with a class teacher role, including planning, parent consultations, report writing and assessment etc. You will take full responsibility for the class and the organisation of a classroom assistant.

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
