We are recruiting for a key stage 2 teacher for this lovely, three-form entry school, located in a lovely part of Barnet, in North London. The actual year group is still to be decided but it will be in KS2 and is unlikely to be Year 6. There is some flexibility in regards to the year group.
The Headteacher is well established, having been at the school for many years and there are very high expectations at the school, both from the Headteacher and also from parents, who are very supportive of the school and of the great work they are doing. The school has a very good community feel. Behaviour at the school is very good and children are motivated and enjoy a challenge.
The school is well served by public transport and also has a staff car park.
The school is seeking an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT) who will take on the usual responsibilities of a full-time class teacher, including planning, marking and assessment, parent consultation evenings etc. You should be hardworking and have a passion for teaching and for helping children to reach their full potential. Teamwork is essential, as you will be working closely as a year group team and led by the phase leader.

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

You must have the legal right to work in the UK
