About the School - KS1 Primary Teacher (Year 1 or Year 2) - Ealing, West London

Located in the culturally vibrant borough of Ealing, this 'Good' Ofsted Rated School is looking to appoint a KS1 Primary Teacher from January with the option to teach in either Year 1 or Year 2.

This lovely Primary School provides a broad and balanced curriculum, which supports the overall development of their pupils; academically, socially and spiritually.
Within KS1, the school has been recognised for its strength in teaching Phonics, seen through their excellent Y1 phonics screening scores. Results of pupil outcomes at the end of KS1 for Writing, Reading and Maths are above National average. This commitment to excellence is a strength of the KS1 faculty.

This permanent position is suitable for a Primary Teacher who has a passion for Phonics, as they will be supporting and facilitating Phonics Screen Testing or SATs moderation. The successful candidate will have a choice of Year 1 or Year 2, depending on their strengths and experience.

As a 3-form entry school, the school has the capacity to support NQT's who will be working with experienced and passionate Primary teacher and mentors.

*Must hold UK QTS - post is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified teachers with an excellent induction programme available.
*A Primary Teacher with the confidence and enthusiasm to prepare and support their students towards a successful Year 2 SATs moderation or Year 1 Phonics Screen Testing.

*The school is flexible in terms of year group and offers bespoke CPD to ensure every teacher can progress through the school.
*The school has a vacancy in Key Stage 1, offering a Year 1 or Year 2 class.
