On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are looking to appoint a well-qualified, enthusiastic KS1 teacher from January 2021. The position will run until the end of the academic year with the potential of a permanent position depending on your success and suitability in the role. About the role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a mixed ability class of approximately 30 pupils. Experience with SEN and EAL pupils will be hugely advantageous along with the ability to effectively manage a full-time TA to support individual needs and overcome barriers to learning.

As the KS1 teacher, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Thoroughly plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with national curriculum standards
-Use a creative teaching and learning approach providing relevant, meaningful activities that can be applied to real life scenarios.
-Identify the need for intervention support whether that be academic or behavioural and keep up-to-date records of progress that can be discussed with the SENDCO.
-Adhere to the school assessment policy providing regular verbal and written feedback to pupils and reflect on lessons to inform future planning.
-Implement ICT to enhance learning opportunities and familiarise pupils with the use and application of modern technology.
-Contribute to the wider school community.

Hold QTS certification with a minimum of 2 years experience
