Job Title: Part-Time KS1 Teacher

Location: South Liverpool

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with experience in KS1 looking for a rewarding part-time role in a supportive school environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen at a primary school in South Liverpool for a talented KS1 Teacher to join our team.

As a Part-Time KS1 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and supporting the development of young learners in Key Stage 1. You will have the opportunity to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the vibrant life of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons across the KS1 curriculum, fostering a stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity and exploration.
  • Support the academic and holistic development of students, providing individualised support and intervention where necessary.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that celebrates diversity, promotes positive behaviour, and encourages student participation.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and communicate effectively with parents and carers about their child's learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate curriculum activities, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (KS1) is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and proven ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to collaboration, teamwork, and ongoing professional development.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
