Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a hardworking, compassionate KS1 teacher to join a large primary school in Swindon from September 2019. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE), long-term MAT cover role for a year 2 class. The role will be until Christmas 2019 with a view of extending depending on the needs of the school.
This primary school is a well-regarded and popular school which nurtures a caring and supportive environment. It is a one form entry school with seven classes from EYFS to Year 6.
We are looking for:
*A teacher who holds qualified teaching status (QTS) and experience teaching KS1
*Someone with excellent curriculum knowledge & strong behaviour management skills
*Have a proven experience of embedding the principles of Assessment for Learning & ability to demonstrate how to use the most appropriate teaching and learning strategies and resources to meet the needs of all pupils
*Understanding of the responsibilities under the SEN code of Practice
You will be expected to take responsibility for a year 2 class. The days required will be Wednesday - Friday, however an openness to be able to work on Monday & Tuesday also is desired but not essential.
