Year 1 Teaching Assistant required for a two form entry primary school in the heart of Wythenshawe.

This Ofsted rated good school who is led by an innovative Headteacher who is constantly looking at ways to improve teaching and learning. Staff at the school are extremely positive about the opportunities they are offered to develop their leadership skills and work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching across all year groups.

Behaviour at the school is good and children display positive attitudes towards their own learning. They make good progress from Early Years and this continues across the school. Children feel safe, secure and happy and are willing to learn.

Suitable candidates must:
*Have knowledge of and keep up to date with the Curriculum guidance for Key Stage .
*Understand how pupils' learning is affected by their physical, intellectual, emotional and social development and to understand the stages of child development.
*Be able to work along side the Class Teacher to plan and deliver schemes of work, following the teaching programme for all children within the class, using clear differentiation.
*Make effective use of assessment information on pupils' attainment and progress and in planning future sessions.
*Use a variety of teaching and learning styles to keep all pupils engaged.
